Hi guys,
How long does it take for the stitches to disolve?  I haven't cut the excess stitches off.

Also, its hard under my nipples under my stitches.  I take it that this is scar tissue?  Does this go away?  I'm asking since my left nipple is not as flat as my right one (very very slight protusion - barely noticable, just need some reassurance)   ;D

I am 2 weeks post-op right now...

I must say though that I'm happier that a pig in shyte with the way my chest looks now (swelling and all)...

Fourrings, I responded in the other thread already about this.
All you have to do is cut the ends off with clean scisors.
The internal stitches will disolve on their own. Usually a month or so.

Regarding the scar tissue, I'm not too sure about this area yet. Mine is also hardened up and numb under the nips.

The hard mass that you feel is scar tissue. It will dissolve on its own. Just be patient Dude...

Did the scar tissue cause your nipple to lump up?! Did it protrude a little?!  It seams as though the area that doesn't have stitches is flat, but the area that does is protruding a little.
Raven, do you have this aswell?
