Today was the day.  I officially booked my surgery for the end of July.  I am beyond nervous but still excited at the same time.  Hoping that I didn't make a mistake.  I know that in a few months when it's all over I will be glad that I did it, but I still can't shake the nerves.
Anyone have any advice on getting over these initial hesitations?  I took everyones advice and didn't go with a general plastic surgeon, I'm instead traveling several hours to a gyne specialist in order to hopefully get the best results possible.  I have done my research and I feel comfortable with my decision in surgeons.  Any words of encouragement are appreciated! :)

If you are confident in your choice of surgeon and his ability to give you a positive result, then you have nothing to worry about! Surgery itself is a breeze, and the hardest parts of recovery are over in a week or two. After that its just time. You'll be just fine, congrats and good luck!

Yes. Stay positive and be confident that you are in good hands. The hardest part is the day of surgery because you can help but think about it because you are there. I was alone, so I used my ipod to distract me. Then they give you happy juice and your anxiety dissipates immediately, and your surgeon becomes the funniest person you've ever been around.
