Need advice on preparation 4 the BEST OP RESULTS

I know there is alot of guys out there who had to get many operations before achieving ideal results. I really need advice on how to get ready for my operation to the best of MY ability, because im not worried about my surgeon, he's good. I would just like to help make his job a little easier, and keep me confident that my results(if good) will be permanent. Also, does using the vest for some good time after the operation, help out alot? I would highly appreciate anybodys posts  !!
