The best part of the surgery for me was that I had very puffle cone like nipples and now they are like 5p coins lol tiny and flat and chill.
If that is what you want to do, there is no one to stop you.

What are you on about now?
If someone (say you) believes that some form of cosmetic surgical procedure will improve their station in life then no one is stopping you from saving your money and doing what you believe is in your best interests.

Stop complaining and either move on with your life or do what you believe is best.

Like I said in the other thread you just don't seem to read properly or your too busy looking down your nose to comprehend full sentences clearly. I had the surgery 2 years and aren't complaining about anything because I don't have gynecomastia any more. The surgery is cosmetic imo not just that. If the growths where cancerous it wouldn't be cosmetic surgery. I know by definition it is cosmetic but it just seems like the way you say it is as though its just pure vanity fueling the entire forum and every one should just get over gynecomastia and get on with life.
You are not reading the bulk of the forum otherwise you would know that I ALWAYS say unless there is a medical reason, cancer or a tumor is a medical reason.

Read my post on Prostate issues, if you live long enough you may be faced with a similar choice.

Bummed, I wear support hose, thigh high type and it gets hot here with high humidity in MN, in fact I've been welding the past week customizing the front of our new camper with 70 plus temps while wearing the support hose and long pant to protect them, and you do get used to them!

Bob

Bob is right. You can get accustomed to compression stockings or pantyhose. I had the first problems with my veins in my 20s and wear them for 28 years now, even more at high temperatures. And yes, I wear them with shorts in public.

John
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

As I said before my father suffered from very sever varicose vanes in his legs, he wore the support compression socks up to his knees of the day. The condition finally killed him.

There is no shame in doing what you need to do to survive, while few are alive to tell the tail any longer I have met survivors of the Siege Stalingrad. For those of you who are not acquainted with history do yourself a favor and read up on what people will do to survive. then tell yourself that you would or would not do.

I have no problem doing what I need to do to survive. However, in my case there are options, and the options are actually a step towards a cure - not a bandaid on the problem.

If my ONLY choice was to wear compression hosiery, I would be wearing it.

John, I don't know how you manage to pull it off, but congrats to you. I have not worn shorts for years and years anyway (since the style went to capris), but if actual shorts come back into fashion, I will not be wearing them with pantyhose.

So my current situation is, I wear long pants (light sweats or yoga pants) in hot weather, and if I wore hose under them, heat above 80 would kill me.

Bummed, I used to get the same kind that John gets when I got my medical at the U of MN, but at the VA I now get black that look like socks, not sheer pantyhose.

You would be surprise at how many men you see wearing these once you start to notice with shorts on!

Also, they are not as hot as you think they are.

Why would anyone want to walk around with a pair of double D`s when a plastic surgeon can eliminate the issue in one hour with minor pain for a few grand! Find a broad certified plastic surgeon in your area and get the surgery already!!!!

Why! Have you ever had someone you grew up with die because of a simple procedure?

Have you ever actually seen the results of a complete double mastectomy?

Have you ever died for 2-1/2 minutes on an operating table while a combat surgeon removed a bullet from you?

I highly doubt that you have been through anything similar. I do not need a purely cosmetic procedure fought with unacceptable ricks to be anything more than I am.

Confident of what and who I am and Successful in all aspects of life

I'm with TigerPaws on this! I've been through 8 surgeries that I've had for reasons that were to make major improvements in my live, such as to help me walk or to lesson chronic pain! I see no reason to have surgery to change the way I look, I'm very comfortable with how I look, who I am, and don't give a damn what others think!

See my life model on the bottom of my post page!

So they look like tights if you're in shorts? Leggings? Still not men's clothing.
I have also read reviews stating that they can be quite uncomfortable from having leg hair - on top of being hot.

I doubt it. For the last year plus, I have been taking notice of other men to see how I fit in. I have seen ZERO guys with boobs, but plenty with moobs. Not a single guy that was otherwise fit had boobs that could be seen.
I have not seen any men wearing tights either - competitive runners and bikers do not count.
I have never cared about fashion trends and what people thought about my choice of clothing, but it was always men's clothing. I am now approaching a point where I may need to wear a bra soon, and doctors are prescribing pantyhose. I'm just waiting to be prescribed panties to complete the outfit. Grrrrrrr....

Sad? I doubt it. Lonely? Again, I doubt it. All he is doing is pointing out the fact that there are a bunch of pansy ass narcissistic whiners out there that freak out at the thought of not being physically perfect - something NOBODY else would ever notice. Body dysmorphia is a real mental problem, and recently there have been several posters demonstrating symptoms.

Tell ya what, you find me a surgeon that will GUARANTEE a perfect result - no scarring, no deformities, and no complications - and I will make an appointment.
Until then, you're talking out your backside - or you had surgery for something nobody else would have ever noticed.

Bummed, I get it! I take these out of a brand new box that say "men's support hose ", but I still feel weird putting them on at times and I've been using them and living with this shit for 20 years or more!

I've always been all man, did all "manly" things, but I've always been a gentleman! I've never been a cross dresser so I understand where your coming from, however I also now want comfort so I learn to adjust my thoughts about the clothing that I needed to help me feel better!

I don't have vain problems, I need the support hose for support!  There are days that I get up and don't put them on due to being bull headed! By the time I have my 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee I give in and put them on, because my legs are hurting, and they also help my prosthetic knees too, especially if it's damp out!

I've always had a full beard so it is obvious that I'm not a cross dresser! My beard is getting very long now, never thought that I would grow one this long, and have no plans to cut it! Maybe that's what you could do if you would decide to give them a try!

Just a friendly thought.

Bummed your $0.02 is worth just that.

Do a short search on Double Mastectomy and just in case you do not know how:

In case you are too lazy to look for yourself

A Double Mastectomy is major surgery and while your vanity and self esteem might be so weak that you need to compare yourself to others some of us do not have that problem.

Well, one has to have enough facial hair to do that - I never have. Overall body hair is sparse compared to most men, so I have never even been able to grow a 'stash, let alone a beard. :-(
But, I can see if you let it grow long enough (ZZ Top?) you won't have to worry about your boobs showing either... lol

FYI, you're getting pissy with the wrong dude. I don't know who you were responding to, but it sure as hell should not be me - unless you totally misread something I posted.
