Surgery Questions

For those of you that had surgery how long did it take for your skin to go back to normal? it's been about 3 1/2 weeks and half my nipple on one side is basicly gone. It was fine until he took the stitches off, but when he did he tore the skin on one side. I have no ideal if that's even normal but it's been bothering me lately. If it helps he did an incision around both nipples. Answers much appreciated.
