Hey, I bought some Clomid from ADC a while ago and never got around to using it. Anyway, I'm low on tamoxifen and I wondered if I should buy some more or just use the Clomid? If so, what's the relative effectiveness? What dose should I take?

From reading a few studies, I gather that Clomid has less affinity for the estrogen receptors in the breasts than tamoxifen, but I was always under the impression that Clomid was stronger (that's why I bought it) ???

The man who medicates himself has a fool for a doctor.

The adjustment of hormones is not a good D I Y project.

From my understanding of those drugs they are only effective very early on in the onset of gynecomastia.  I have heard the figure of 2 years maximum after gynecomastia is first noticed.  Otherwise the tissue develops and it is there, not like these drugs go in and erase it after the fact.  So unless you are a teenage boy, I doubt they will help.

I think this furthers Paw_Paw's statement that endocrinology is not a DIY thing.
