Hello guys , I am new to this forum...

I just have a question:

I have my surgery in july and I heard I dont remember where that it's bad to loose weight beofre the gynecomastia surgery...
(make a diet and exercice alott!) I am 1m80 and 73 kilos I am not oversized at all I just want some abs :)
is it true?

Definitely incorrect info their my man ...

If any thing, the surgeon benefits from operating on some one thats in good shape as it helps him sculpt your chest better!

Losing weight can only help.  You will here that from the docs.  I personally asked this question of several surgeons and all said "lose the weight first".

The only exception to this may be that some people set unrealistic weight loss goals on themselves and hold off surgery until they lose weight.  These patients sometimes never lose the weight and never get the surgery.  Sometimes these patients can get a boost from surgery, it can motivate them to lose those last dozen pounds.

If you are losing and are motivated keep going.  If you stop losing and are stable at a given weight you may want to consider the surgery.
