im post op and i know the gland is suppose to be pea size. I only notice the small circlr behind the nipples, when they are stimulated- is anyone eles like this- also when they are stimulated i kinda looks wierd, it looks like my areolas are flat except for the small circle (pea sized) behind my nipps which sticks out, is any one eles like this also

That depends upon your definition of "Normal."

I would argue that most Gynecomastia is normal. Obviously if there is pathology involved it is not normal. A condition which is present in so many people Has to be conceded to be within the statistical Norm.

The question is: Does it bother you? All else is just talk.

Small pea size "thing" is prob a normal breast bud.

i'm kind of suprised it wasn't taken out.  but i'm assuming that's not scar tissue either.

My doc told me its normal to have breast buds

he might have been thinking it was normal to leave in and for all i know many or most docs do, i'm not a ps, i just would have thought recurrance odds and contour would have been better without it.  see if one of the docs here has an opinion.
