To get things in a proper perspective, comparative views before and after would help. It would also help to know the time frame. How long has it been since your surgery?  Also, without actually naming the surgeon can you tell us what his specialty is and what criteria you used in selecting the surgeon.  For example: "He is a general surgeon and his price was low." Or: "He was recommended by a friend who had similar surgery done by this surgeon."
