A few questions about healing after surgery.

1. After surgery, since a round mass of tissue is removed, does the outer part have to eventually fuse to the inner surface? Does the compression garment keep everything in place for that purpose, or is it there just for swelling?

2. What kind of complications would a person have if they went back to work too soon and involved themselves in strenuous movements?

3. How does a patient usually feel right after surgery? Nauseous? Out of it?

1)  vest is for swelling, I'm pretty sure skin moves independently from muscle so there isn't much fusing
2) I'm three weeks post and I couldn't do hard labor for at least another two weeks I'm guessing
3) I felt fine after waking up, no nausea just a sore throat from the tube
