Five drains in Five weeks post op

hmmm....

i'm sitting here asking myself what the hell is going on and why do i have to go in and have my right side drained for the
5th time in 5 weeks! 

did my surgeon screw up?!
am i doing something wrong?!
what the fvck is going on?!

i'm loosing my mind, when is this gonna stop.........

its not clear fluid, its dark dark blood.

she has tried to get some out of my left side, its alot more normal looking than my left, but has had no luck.

my right side though she has taken out about 1 to 2 full syringe pulls out of it.  it fills fairly quickly (1-2 days) again.

lucky to have an accomodating ps but very wearing to keep returning to deal with this.

i think i will try to see my family doctor this week and see if he can refer me to someone so i can get a second opinion.

That's pretty scary, man. The drains should've been taken out by at least week three. Yeah, you might want to see your family doctor ASAP.

oh i've got my actual drains out but my surgeon just keeps having to drain my chest with a needle and a syringe.
