Excuses to cover up surgery

I'm out with my friends often and them not seeing me for 1/2 weeks will bring about several questions.

What kind of excuse can I give as to why I won't come out of my house for a few weeks. I wouldn't feel comfortable telling them I had gynecomastia surgery.

Any ideas?

Tell them you've had a fall and bruised your ribs and it's very painful for you to move about. You've been given strong pain killers and you can't drink or drive with them.

That should last for two weeks

i don't know if it would work for you personally, but you could say you are away on holiday or the like.

I said I broke a rib to a mate when he saw a bandage poke out the top of my t-shirt. He bought it completely, I think the ribs is a good one because you can imagine someone with broken ribs would have bandages wrapped round them and couldn't move very well.

or tell them youve got a bad back and that you need to wear a back support.
