hey guys im 10 weeks post op gland removal

i still have some scarring which has extended a little past the areola border...it just looks like some part of the scar(not all) is swollen...

what is the time frame where hypertrophic/raised scarring look the worst??? what helps the best to decrease this type of scarring??? should i expect to have these types of scars forever and can say a dermatologist to anything about this type of scarring?
