I would say gland. Dont think weight loss will help much with those.

Hey guys!
It's been almost 15 years for me living with that
I like sports in general and I don't do it because I want to loose some weight, it's just because I like it
Anyway, am overseas now for a month and then am going under the knife ;D
I'm and outgoing person, and who you are is not what you look like...having gynecomastia shure is not the greatest thing...
People don't juge you on your chest, and if they do just tell them who you are and make up conversation to see what they've got to say...Unfortunatly stupid people exists wether you have gynecomastia or not they will remain right...Gynecomatia is something you can get rid off those days...
Imagine the poor stupid guy, who doesn;t even realise that he is dumb, there's no way he's going to change that, its just in his soul, gynecomastia not!

I think mine are mostly made of loose skin
5 years ago I had liposcuscion, according to my surgeon it was fat only, I really doubt that...
Since those bloody moobs are still hanging on my chest, I'll go back to a specialised in gynecomastia in Paris
I don't know what grade 3 is?
Anyway, am hitting the gym a lot at the moment, I know it want get rid of the problem but am almost shure the results will be a lot better if I loose most of my body fat
I used to be overweight like 95 kg for 1m74, for about 7 years, I think I've got loose skin as I've got stretch marks around my hips and under my armpit
The surgeon will probably do a gland removal and skin thightening...
I have an appointement on the 17 of January and probalby surgery 2 weeks after that, do you think it is safe to take the plain for 20 hours 2weeks after surgery?
Thanks for the replys

Any other comments???

I've lost 13 kg in 4 month, doing exerice a lot and changed my diet
It seems that I've lost quiet a lot of fat on my chest and definitely on my stomach
Now when I bend over, it's hanging a lot, I wonder have you guys ever heard of having moobs only because of loose skin, It seems that's the problem I've got...
Is there any other surgeries regarding loose skin on the chest?
Am going to see a surgeon in January but I'd like to have as many opinions as possible...
Cheers

Hi,  looking at your pics I would imagine that losing weight would shrink / deflate your chest but not remove it completely.

Your chest is a bit like mine (mine is bigger :(), in that you obviously have a lot of loose skin, fat and gland left over from weight loss.... or that is how it appears anyway.

IMO you would need something like a breast lift (male mastopexy) http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/male_breast_lift/index.html   to remove the problem.... scar is bigger than in standard gyno correction; but it has to be worth it?

I'm booked in for a breast lift myself next month, so I will let you know how it goes!

Time for travel after surgery can vary depending on the problem to be treated, surgical technique, skill of the surgeon, and other issues.

How well skin adjusts after weight loss depends on many factors.  Skin Reduction Gynecomastia Surgery is a compromise with additional scars. It becomes a trade off, scars vs loose skin.  With my techniques, I am able to avoid skin reduction scars for many of my patients.

Loose skin can be a major problem after massive weight loss..  When there is loose tissue both lower body and upper body, sculpting the coarser lower tissue first permits a more accurate areola position.  A Lower Body Lift addresses the loose skin around the lower body and usually includes a tummy tuck, thigh lift, leg lift, and buttock lift.  Take your time to check out the entire section showing the problem of loose skin, the movies before and after surgery.

The drooping male chest after massive weight loss typically needs some form of Skin Reduction Chest Lift Surgery.  The extent of surgery depends on many factors.

For those still losing weight or needing to hold off before considering surgery, Non-surgical Body Shaping Garments can help as an emotional support.  It can be rewarding seeing the expression on patients as they first put on one of these garments to help deal with the loose skin issues until they are ready for surgery.

Hope this helps,
