post surgery, when can i have asprin and garlic?

was told after my operation to avoid aspirin, garlic and chinses food as they can cause extra bleeding. just wondered how long should i avoid them for after the operation? so far im just gone 2 weeks post op.

haven't heard that advice before, but it sounds like the kind of thing they tell you for the first week.  but ask the guy who told you that, they're usually happy to clarify their own advice if they have to.
