Just wondering if it would be safe to take those to gain mass, and if it has any effect on gyne ?? I had surgery a couple months ago, and now I would like to shape my chest, and gain some muscle mass in the arms as I start my gym journey...

Just want to make sure if it's safe to take, and doesn't promote any type of growth of gyne ??
 
Anybody with some experience would be greatly appreciated... Thanks.

I know that protein powders contain no sort of hormonal ingredients. I guess I can't say for sure that it wouldn't cause gyne, but I can say that I've been drinking 1 or 2 protein shakes per day for about the last 5 years, with no affect on my gyne (it hasn't gotten any better or worse). I think your good to go.

go for it, i've been using whey protein before and after my surgery...no effect on the gyne.

Just be careful of soy protein.  There has been mention of soy protein having the ability to cause gynecomastia. I don't know if there is any evidence of that though.

I personally wouldnt take the 'Mass Gaining' protein supplements, regular whey protein with a small amount of carbs does the job - just ensure your consuming at least a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight - and you should grow fine! - All the Best

I personally wouldnt take the 'Mass Gaining' protein supplements, regular whey protein with a small amount of carbs does the job - just ensure your consuming at least a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight - and you should grow fine! - All the Best

The "mass gaining supplements" are the same shit as regular protein powder (whey) along with fast carbs (maltodextrin/vitargo).

Most of these 'Mass Gaining' Supplements contain ridiculous amount of carbs! completely different to most whey proteins that contain around 16g - 26g's..

Everybody is different but I rely on weight gainer products to get the amount of calories I need on the days that I weight train.  That extra 600-800 calories really helps me to gain weight consistently.  They are great for right after a workout when the body is deprived of glucose and needs a high carb meal.  They work great for me, but to each his own.

You have to refill the muscles with glucose right after, thus why you mix fast carbs with fast absorbed protein (whey/eaa) = gainer. But yea, the amounts that most people recommend are ridiculous.

soy protein is for women and it has small amounts of estrogen in it... and u can take n e protein u want after that it doesnt really matter it wont couse growth of gyne..... as long as ur not taking steroids ur straight..... i been in the weight lifting game for a WHILE i know...

Here's the part I'm confused about (please understand I'm new to this)-- Virtually all of the Whey Protein Powders I saw at the health store stated they contained Milk and Soybeans... Now, they're not "Soy Protein" per say, but they do have some "Soy Beans" in the Protein Powder itself...

Does that make a difference since it's not a regular "Soy Protein" (cause I did see those that stated "Soy Protein" on the front of the label)-- is there a difference ??

Also, I have some belly fat.. I'm about 6ft 175lbs, but that's mainly fat in the belly and love handles...(Not really chubby, but I can lose a few lbs) I have skinny arms, legs, and not really muscular shoulders/back/chest etc...

I am committed to begin a routine at the gym that consists of cardio, and weight training to go along with a diet...

I wanted to put on some muscle and use the protein as an aid to help with that, but I would also like to lose belly fat...

I know this is going to sound dumb, but should I hold off on the protein while I try to shed the belly fat, or can I do both ??? (Lose weight with diet, cardio and weight training--all the while continue to take protein to gain muscle)-- I guess I don't want to lose weight (just the fat)-- I would like to substitute that weight with muscle..

Basically, what I'm getting at is-- does one off set the other ???

YES SIR.... i too was a chunky boy back in the day so here it is.... the more muscle u get the more quickly u will burn fat becouse muscle is an active tissure that uses calories to stay alive.... and the more muscle u have the more shape u will have in ur body and the less fat u will look cuz ur ratio from fat to muscle will be alot better.... so... if u were to do n e thing u would want to bulk up first and get all the muscle u want and then trim down and all that will be left is the muscle.... and by trim down i dont mean crash diet i mean eat things that burn fat and stay away form obviouse stuff like carbs and high sugar foods and all the shit... and to be honest u dont need a protein shake since u have a few extra pounds all u needa do is eat stuff with protein in it... like eggs.... tuna.... fish..... chicken.... stuff high in protein but not necessarliy high in fat.... and also what worked for me TREMEDOUSELY.... is splitting up my workout into 2 parts a day... i would do cardio in the morning to keep my metobolism up during the day and lift at night so when i went to sleep right after my workout my muscles would heal while i was asleep... and aslo i never went hungry i ate every 3 hours....

so there u go i hope that helps u learn this lifting game by trial and error my friend but if u have n e questions just messgae me up
