Tamoxifen for 12 year old gyno !

i m suffering from gynecomastia for last 12 years now i m 24 years old.
During checkup I tell my endo that my left breast has pain and gradual increase or decrease in size.
then he said that your right breast has inactive stage or complete gyno and left ome has tender.
Therefore he is ready to try tamoxifen for 6 months.
what do you say ? does it works ?

Tamoxifen may work, it may not.

The fact that you've had your gyne for 12 years means it's less likely to be of use, although it may do something.

Make sure your doctor has made you aware of the possible side effects of the drug, and as long as you inform him immediately if you have problems it should be quite safe.

tamox will probably lessen the sensetivity of the left side, it won't make the gland go away... chances are, after you come off the tamox you'll have the sensitivity return
