q's about gyne/puffy nipples

do puffy nipples immediately mean one has gyne?
following on therefore.. can one have puffy nipples without gyne and why/how?

would it be possible for say, a 17-18year old to develop pubertal gyne at 16 and dissapear before the end of teens? basically, is it possible for pubertal gyne to start and end this late?

for a site that specialises in gyne i find it hard to believe that no-one can answer?

Dude, this is not a chat room. People are not here on your beckoning call to answer your questions. We check back on a daily or weekly basis or so and see if we can give any decent advice. Give it time.

It is possible, if your body is still going through the hormonal changes at 16 or 17. But if your done with puberty, then it's probably not from that and could be an underlying hormone issue.

There are several different definitions of the term Gynecomastia. and even several different spellings.  Gynaecomastia is also correct.

The definition I prefer is:    

Any visible or palpable growth of the breasts in males of any age or in females prior to puberty.

This definition includes the breast enlargement of infants the puffy nipples which you described and even the feminine contouring of the breasts in obese boys and men.  

Might the condition self resolve? Perhaps.   Your precise age is less important that where you are in terms of maturation.  Most Gynecomastia occurs in early puberty,  yours seems to be a few years late! which presents some questions that are probably best answered by an Endocrinologist.  Your regular family Doctor should be able to refer you to this specialist.
