Need a docs advice - Compression Garment

I have a small amount (getting smaller each day) of scar tissue on my right side, a tiny bit on my left side too. I was just wondering, I still have a compression garment ... will this aid in helping it heal? Or is it pointless now.

Because if its going to help I will wear it, but its a pain and I get very hot wearing it ... so im not really euthastic about wearing it again! Please help!

did u wear it for 7 months. would it really help after one or 2 months?
