There is a risk involved with any surgery...whether for gyne or anything else.
I'd say it's a pretty "safe" procedure.  Your best bet is to choose a surgeon wisely.

No new issues here.

However, as turtle78 mentioned, there are certain inherent risks to any surgery. GRS surgery is a gamble... but isn't that gamble worth it?  ;)

thanks guys for the reply.
i know some of the usual complications that can arise after gyne surgery:
haemotoma
seroma
no sensation in nipple

Do u know of any other problems?
I am more worried about problems which don't commonly occur..
i heard one guy started getting pain on entire left side of his body after surgery. he told me it was because doctor cut some nerve during surgery..

Overall, gyne surgery is very safe surgery.  It is performed just under the skin -- not deep into a body cavity such as the chest or abdomen.  There are no major nerves in the areas that we generally work.

Yet no surgery is entirely risk free.  There can be hematomas, seromas, infections, irregular contours, etc -- but in the hands of an experienced surgeon, these are greatly minimized.  Return of skin and nipple sensation depends upon the re-growth and re-connection of millions of tiny nerve end-fibers which have to function again -- but again no major nerves are damaged.

In sum, after some months of healing, patients go back to their usual lives -- with a better chest contour.

Yes there are side effects.  Happiness, Relief, and enjoying nice weather.  Don't be alarmed these are all normal.
