I told my GF for the first time about my condition only 3 weeks before surgery. We've been together for 6 years and she was under the impression that weightlifting was mostly responsible for my breasts, plus a few grams of fat. But I definitely had puffy nipples.

I told her on April 1st I was going to get a surgery in 3 weeks. She did not believe me !  She thought it was a prank. I had to tell because I needed her to be my post-op caregiver.

She was extremely supportive and helpful.

Yes I did ! I'm 2 days post-op now. I'm feeling fantastic. I love my new chest. I went out for a walk this morning. I'm still waiting for significant swelling to appear. I hope it won't be too bad...
