Recovery time

Hi all,

I am planing to get operated for gyno this week. How long is the recovery time. I am planing to put 4 days of leave. I wanted to know if thats enough for resuming normal activities.

My case is a modearte gyno.

Please advice.

Also how long it takes for all the swellings to settle?

U can go back to work on third day post op, but u need to wear vest or a very tight under shirt. dont lift any heavy things. walk and office work is ok.

You should be ok from the 4th day..
My doctor had put surgical pads and wrapped it around with plaster thing..So it is a little uncomfortable...
