If I were to have surgery in September, would I be OK to leave for basic training in November?

I read somewhere on this forum about someone who was just over 3 weeks post op and was having troubles lifting his arms above his head as it was painful. You need to remember that everyone responds differently to surgery. Also it kinda depends on how your surgeon is planning to *remove* your gyne (different recovery times for different techniques..)

I guess this isn't much help to you really! I'm hoping someone that's actually had surgery will post and let you know how recovery went for them. Good luck either way man
Had surgery with Dr. Karidis (London, UK) on 23rd July. Wearing tight t-shirts and looking forward to going swimming!
