deposit it into your bank and pay with your card (or check.....seems like old people still love to hold up the lines at grocery stores by writing checks).
Either that or buy a cashiers check or money order. If you do money order you will have to buy several because last I remember you can only get up to 500 in one money order. If you already have the money seems like this should be the easy part but hey, who am I to talk. I don't even have the money.
And just speaking from experience, RESEARCH the doc you are going to be seeing so you dont throw your money away.

as long as they can deposit it, they'd probably take it.  the bills still have printed on them "this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private".  they might prefer a cashier's check to cash, but you'd have to actually know how much it was for in advance.  give their office a call.  also maybe keep a small can of mace if you're going to carry it  ;)

* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

Most large transactions are done electronically these days. Put the money in the bank.

I may be one of the few people who actually held a handfull of thousand dollar bills. It would have been easier to pass a third party out of state check with no ID than it was to break those big bills..

Each office has it's own policy, so you might want to just ask the office manager. We accept cash, but if it is several thousand dollars and it comes in $20 bills it takes a lot of time for myself and the patient to wait while I count it!! $100 bills are fine and your office manager will appreciate it!
