There are various Gynecomastia Testing that may be necessary.  A competent Endocrinologist starts out by learning the clinical history, then performing an examination. Lab testing then depends on what they are looking for, blood testing is quite common when investigating various hormonal issues. However, the search often expands based on what they find.
