Four weeks Post Op and very happy

I'm now 4 weeks post-op and couldn't be happier. And thanks to everyone who contributes to this board. It has provided me with invaluable support for the last couple of month, both pre and post surgery.

Although I still have more swelling on my left side than my right (you can see it in the pics), I am very, very pleased. Even though I have only lost maybe one pound since the surgery, I appear so much slimmer. I can even wear the correct size shirt without it hanging funny or pulling open across my chest!

I still have a couple of hard areas of soreness, but I almost have my complete range of motion. However, when I try a couple of yoga stretches, I can't make the full stretch. So, I think I'm going to give it a week or two more before returning full-on to the gym and to yoga.

If you hate your chest contour, and have the cash, do the surgery. I waited way to long. I hate to think of all those years I spent being so self-conscious about my chest.

Great results. I just had my surgery on Friday and like you I didn't need an incision. I was told that when you have this procedure done at a later age that the tissue is softer and is sometimes easier to remove and can be done with just lypo.

How long did you wait to take the vest off and take a look?

These results  are perfect. ddh, can you please keep us posted with your progress? I think my case is very similar to yours. I cannot feel any kind of rubbery gland type tissue when I feel my chest , just soft fatty kind of tissue. Add to that I do not have puffy nipples so I'm guessing mainly a fat component is distorting the contour. Thanks and congrats.

The surgeon took off the post surgery elastic wrap the next day (or maybe it was two days later, I can't remember). That is when I got my first look. Then, when I began to shower, I got a look each day while my compression vest was off.

I'm 10 weeks post-op now and feeling great.

I still have some hard scar tissue (more on the left than on the right) but the amount continues to decrease as each week goes by. I continue to massage both.

My chest contour continues to evolve. Right now, I'm a bit concerned because my boobs are dropping some. But my surgeon says you can't tell the final results until 6 months pass.
