Question about pre-surgery test's

I'm having a CBC, PT and PTT, and Urinalysis....my appointment at the doctor is 4 PM am I not supppose to eat or drink until then? the doc never told me.

I'm no doc but I think those are just blood and urine tests.  They usually don't require fasting, but most fasting is always "no food or liquid after midnight".  So why don't you do that and when you get up in the morning, call your doc's office first or the blood lab and ask if you are supposed to fast.  If not, eat breakfast!

So entouragee share with us what it meant ? did u have to fast for those tests. i had my blood tests as well ptt i believe too and it did not require any fasting.
