Those pictures show the issue a lot better than the previous ones.

It looks like you have quite big pecs but I'm sure you can get flatter than that and lose the 'moob' shape as well.

I'm still not convinced you will get satisfaction in terms of the areola issue, but to be honest I think they are only slightly larger than average anyway...... could just be considered at the big end of normal really.

But yeah, given this camera angle I can see why you are not happy with the NHS results........ not really the overall flatness that you would expect after gyne surgery.

Yeah I figured the last lot didn't do it justice at all! I'm really quite relieved you've said that, glad I'm not just barmy! Yeah I've been training in the gym for the last 9 months or so, so my chest is fairly well developed compared to a regular chest, so I would hope after the op I'll have a reasonable set of pecs!

As I've said the main issues is overall flatness, and I feel removing the gland and fat will stop that saggy apperance the areolas currently have, which I think will help with their aesthetics a lot IMO even if they don't reduce in size at all. But right now I'm left with a chest that's NOT flat, bad looking areas, and still quite large areolas, yes it was a slight improvement over my inital case in terms of contour etc but there's still alot of room for improvement I feel.

Fingers crossed!

Well going up to London tomorrow to see him, can't come soon enough tbh! Hoping he'll have some reassuring words and a positive outlook!

Okay so I went to see him earlier today, in summary the general consensus was:

- There is some remaining gland, and also some fibrous fatty tissue. He can remove all of this and give me a flat chest.
- I asked about areola size, and he did say it was possible the areola was reduce in size slightly once the gland was removed from behind it (as there is hard gland directly behind each nipple.)
- His only concern was to do with my skin. It is quite elastic/stretchy, and because of this he wasn't sure how it'd respond once it was all removed - whether or not it would fully tighten up or if there could be a small area of fold/crease. Tbh I think I'd rather have a flat chest that looks good in clothes and deal with that, than have a chest that looks crappy in clothes and out of clothes.

So I'm 99% sure at this point I'm going to go ahead with it. Just need to get the loan application all sorted out, and then book myself in! Also need to get an appointment booked with my doctor so I can get the bloods done.

Update:

Just phoned them and she's pencilled me in for the 12th of July, so I just need to pay the deposit/balance asap which will be once I've sent these loan forms off. Booked into see doctors at the start of June - receptionist from Karidis's office said she'd email me the blood work forms so I can take them with me to my GP which was really helpful!

Yep, once it's paid for and all set in stone / bloods sorted etc I think it'll become more/feel more real ya know? Gonna be long 5-6 weeks tbh, I'm impatient at the best of times!

Got the money through from my loan today..

Does anyone know if Karidis's office is open on Saturdays? Wanting to desperately inquire and see if there's any chance they'd have a slot available for this coming Tuesday, the 31st of May.

On the off chance they could (which would be amazing), I'm not sure what I'd do as far as bloods are concerned. Anyone have any idea how recent they have had to been? I had bloods done in 2009 for my first operation, which I presume would have the information there if my doctor can access that? I also had a blood test early this year to get my Testosterone etc levels checked out, possibly they would have the information in there among that or do they just test for the things you specify and ignore the rest?

Tried ringing on several occasions today, it kept saying all the operators were busy on other calls and to hold, but I spent about 20-30 minutes on hold and it did it every time I rang throughout the day so I presume they just weren't there! Will ring first thing tomorrow, fingers crossed they can get me in asap!!
