should i go to the pool with my gyno?

 i just wanna know 1 simple qeustion should i go to the pool with my gyno it looks like this:

Go to the pool and enjoy yourself. If it concerns you, nobody will stare at your chest, it is a minor case. Of course it's up to you to let this interfere with your life....I know it may not be a nuisance and you may be self conscious but in my opinion it should not stop you from enjoying your time.

Some individual with puffy nipple gynecomastia feel devastated with their contours depriving themselves activities that could bring pleasure to their lives yet others with massive breasts and obese bodies are out there playing, swimming, and other activities with their body exposed. Contour is a personal issue, something in our heads. When my patients need to stabilize an underlying problem, lose weight, or just need to put off surgery for another time, the body shaping garments have been an awesome tool. I took the time to demonstrate what such garments offer for different body types. My surfing patients taught me that the water equivalent of this garment is the wetsuit. A microprene top or something like that can be the water equivalent for such contour issues. If you look in pools where some are working out for long hours, you will see many have such garments to protect their skin from the chemicals in the water. What does not work is the beach, both types of garments are just not suitable you will roast. For that I recommend the loose fitting sun protective garments that will camouflage by bagginess.

Unless a patient is recovering from surgery and has scar tan issues or wound issues, gynecomastia is no contraindication to get out there in a pool. Yet, I have seen many patients who have told me they avoided such sports and or wanted to get in the water with their kids to have fun but could not because of their embarrassment.

You do appear to have a moderate case of gyne with large, puffy nipples.  For some guys, this can be an extreme cause of embarrassment -- and other guys simply don't give a hoot -- they just do what they want to do and disregard what others think.

Your question can only be answered by yourself.  Sure, wearing a baggy T-shirt around the pool can camouflage it -- but if you get in the water with the T-shirt, you will almost be calling more attention to yourself.

Take a look around a public pool sometimes.  There will be, I would bet, at least 10-20% of men who have visible gyne -- and yet seem to be having a good time.  The answer is that having gyne need not be limiting to you -- but you have to have the guts to "just do it."
