How long is the whole process?

How long is the whole consultation, endocrologist, surgery process.

As in how long is: the moment you decide you're going to get the surgery to when you actually get under the knife? 1 month?

I started in late March.  I began with my psych then went on to my doc for blood tests then went to the ps for a consultation.  All three wrote letters of rec to my insurance company to cover the procedure which was still denied.  My PS consult was in Texas and the out of pocket price quote turned out to be way out of my budget.  Then I scrapped the idea for a week or so until I went to California and figured what the hell I'll go to Tijuana.  By then it was mid-June and here I am today still "recovering/taking it easy".  So, in all, it was about 3 months of thinking about it every single day, making appointments, and taking care of things.

I booked my consultation at the end of June for July 11th.
I booked my surgery for July 20th just waiting now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
