Who here specializes in revisions work. What are your technics in dealing with cratoring, dents, motion defects? Was Dr. Bermant the only game in town?

No, he wasn't the only game in town.

I and many of my colleagues are quite competent to perform revisions.  Each revision is different and must be evaluated individually to determine the best course of treatment.  And yes, each of us is well versed in all the various techniques needed to accomplish the result, including fat flaps (which have been around in the plastic surgical literature for over 40 years).

There are great revision gynecomastia surgeons from coast to coast.  Dr. Bermant is one of many great plastic surgeons who specialize in gynecomastia surgery.

I would bet that most of the plastic surgeons who post on this site with any regularity perform a lot of revision gynecomastia surgery.  We all have an interest in gynecomastia surgery and perform the procedure very frequently, both primary cases and revision cases.

do any of you doctors care how results look when flexing and moving arms over head?
if I understand Bermants technique correctly, he is able to remove virtually ALL of the gland because he removes it first and then fills the hole with fatflaps
.
Ive read how most of you other doctors do it on this board, and you do the lipo FIRST to dig a hole for the gland and then leave some of it to prevent cratering, which does not look good when moving arms/flexing since remaining gland does not compress like fat.
am I right?
