Light pull-through method - Dr. Delgado

Has anyone had this procedure? Is this new? Does only Dr. Delgado perform this, and what does everyone think of this method?

The "pull through" method is used by virtually all gynecomastia surgeons in one form or another.

I tried to cut and paste the link you have there to make sure I correctly understand what you mean by "pull through method", but it didn't work.  Anyways, if it refers to the method of using a single incision at the side of the chest for liposuction AND gland removal, then yes, other doctors do use this technique.  I myself chose to use Dr. Lista for this very reason.  Personally, my skin has a tendency to keloid (raised scar tissue).  I thought it would yield me the best results by having the fewest incision sites.  The typical incision under the nipple won't be used in my case.  If it were, I can only imagine that the resulting scar would be just as embarrassing as the gynecomastia itself (when my shirt is off anyways).  He will make about a 4mm or so incision at the side of the chest through which he will use the liposuction cannula, as well as the other instruments needed to cut / detach and extract the gland tissue.  All through that one tiny hole!  I know, sounds almost impossible.  For my sake...I hope not LOL!!  Anyway, he's been using this technique for years now with great success.  He says it is alittle more difficult than the areola incision since it is all done by feel using the instruments under the skin, but in certain cases, well worth the extra effort.  Hope this helps you out too!
