How long did it take to schedule your surgery

I'm trying to get my parents to get a counsultation with a doctor i found on this site . Are plastic surgeons open on weekends and MLK day . Also how long does it take to get the surgery scheduled . is  6 weeks rushing it. It's just lately people finally started discovering my gyne at school and it's annoying me . I've gone 5 yrs and now this

In my experience, it usually takes about about a month on average from the initial consultation, to the actual surgery.  Depending on how busy the doctor is of course!  I chose to book it for about 7 weeks from the consultation time (due to work scheduling etc.), but could have gotten in as quickly as 3 weeks had I really wanted to.  I'm from Canada, so I can't say about whether or not they would be open on Martin Luther King day or not, but I believe the weekends for the most part they would likely be closed.  Again, it all depends on that particular surgeon I would imagine.
