I got denied for my surgery today so I want to take out a $3,000 loan to pay for the surgery. I'm in community college right now and work part time at a grocery store. Will my local credit Union give me a personal loan? What are some things I should consider before asking for one? PLEASE give me advice I'm desperate and I'm a good person I can definately pay back the loan and certainly will.

A credit union is definetly the way to go. Just tell them you need a personal loan. Not sure if it makes a difference if its for surgery or not. Good luck brotha!!!!

I plan on using CareCredit w/ my parents cosigning as soon as I get a job. I am 19. Check at your doctor's office to see if they accept Carecredit looks like a nice way to go. Carecredit.com is the website. Hope this helps.
