I'm really not sure what to do next I suffer with what I believe is gynaecomastia.. But the issue is I don't weigh a lot I'm about 6ft and I weigh 72kg which brings me to a healthy BMI (I'm 22 as well).

I've been going to the gym a lot of recent and doing dumbell incline presses and cable flys.. But I never see any difference. My dad also suffers with the same condition and he is very fit.

I'm wondering whether what I'm doing is any good? Surely going to the gym 3 times a week, cutting out fatty foods etc should help but I'm worried that my problem cannot be cured with weight loss and gym work.

The skin/tissue around my nipple feels tough which makes me think it could be breast tissue, should I see my GP? It really bothers me..

Gynecomastia can occur on anyone, even an individual as slender and fit as you are.  And often it runs in families -- as evidenced by your dad having it as well.

When you are at a low BMI, there is no diet or exercise that will get rid of it for you.  If it has only been present a short time, then watchful waiting would be indicated.  But if it has been present for 2-3 years, then probably your best recourse would be surgery.

Best to confirm everything with an exam by your local MD.
