When I press on the right side I can hear fluid 'sloshing' around in there :o:o:o.  However, the fluid drainage seems to have stopped. Will the remaing fluid eventually seep out? Getting a tad concerned here...  :o

i had the op myself 16 days ago ,obviously with a different surgeon as im in england but i did notice a kind of sloshing /gushing feeling whenever i got up from bed or setee for about 4-5 days post op ,it stopped soon after .i even had drains in the hospital .
so dont panic just yet it'll probably settle down.

John have you finished healing all the way or are do you still have a little to go. Just wondering because for some of the people on this board it seems a few months and they are pretty much done while others can take almost a year to reach final results. Probably depends on the person though.

jpeppers...

I'm not sure what the fluid was. Probably partial blood tho.

The 'sloshing' sound was gone withing a day or two.  ;)

I was purdy much healed by week 8. I'm 2 days shy of 6 months post-op and feel great!

Yeah, like you mentioned, it probably all depends on the person. I am very surprised that I healed so quickly. I'm 41 now and with all my aches and pains, I was much expecting a long and drawn out healing process. It was quite the opposite tho!

John.
