After my surgery (I'm just about 5 weeks now) I wore tight under armor but could tell it wasn't working.  I then bought 3 compression vests which nearly choked me to death and barely kept pressure on my chest.

I finally managed to try on under armor woman's training bras (designed to compress female breasts) and got to tell everyone, WORKS GREAT!  It's embarrassing, yes.  But we've already lived in embarrassment enough so it won't add anything on.

The under armor ones in particular are great; thin, tight, won't ride up or down, and easy to wash and take care.  Perfect compression for gyno surgery.

I had a follow up appointment on 2/25/13 (surgery on 1/16/13) and the doctor said "Wow!  you're much further along than expected.  this is about a 3 month expectancy."  I only have a lump under my right nipple still (from some lypo leftover) and he gave me instructions to put light pressure on it 3x a day for the next couple of weeks until it's gone.

get it.  highly recommended.
