An open offer to surgeons...

This is a bit of a stab in the dark, but if you don't ask, you don't get.

I run a small media company, and, would be happy to document the entire process of surgery on myself from start to finish, naturally this would benefit the surgeons business as potential clients could see the whole process in action, as well as results/what the process involves and I'd do it all for reduced cost surgery.

Would any surgeon want to risk video evidence of a botched procedure (regardless of how rare)
and so be subject to a lawsuit?

That's a good idea. Delgado "the owner of this site" has a video documenting the surgery. If you could find a surgeon to take you up on the offer that would be great. That video helped me get the courage to go through with surgery.
