It's 4 weeks tomorrow so am going to go to work with just a t shirt on (and trousers of course) for first time my entire working life.  I imagine I will feel very paranoid but hopefully I won't swell up too much although from reading everyone else's stories it sounds like by the time you finish work you are dieing to get back into the security of the vest /binder combo :)

It's a bit late for good luck but how did it go ?
Did you rush back and don the compression suits ?!!!!
Quite tender in the chest and funny pains in the armpits .  Right side swelled up a little bit so was happy to put full compression on when I got home
I was quite paranoid at work and kept pulling my shirt so it wouldn't go tight as its not completely flat but I keep trying to tell myself all the other blokes at work are probably not completely flat either. But it is hard to snap out of the paranoid state
Mr levick has said 2 weeks of this then I can try no compression at all !!!! I'm really happy to hear that.
Also have to start massaging and stretches
Does anyone know what stretches to do?  And is the massaging just rotations with your finger tips ?

Well I am at 2 months now since my Op so thought I should report in for anyone who had their Ops more recent than me.
Im back exercising like I was before the op, only thing I am not doing yet is gone back to Badminton as when I run I get a pain in my left side of my chest so I am waiting till that goes.
I have been enjoying so much going to work and not having to wear any vest (i used to wear compression vests every day to hide my chest) or since the op compression.  It still feels odd to me and I am still paranoid about my chest not looking normal.
At the moment I have a sticky out ridge underneath both nipples which if my T shirt tightens and someone sees me from an exact side angle would look a bit odd but it could easily be explained away with saying excess skin due to weight loss.  The fact that that area is creased as well makes me think it is probably excess skin anyway since I had so much removed.  Either way its still miles miles miles better than before! :)
Chest is still tender to touch and is still too sore to sleep on my front.
Even though I am at the stage where Mr Levick said no compression I am finding more often than not my chest swells up or goes puffy during the day so I am either putting my old compression vest on over night or a Nike under armour t shirt and the binder.
I still feel like its a long road to getting 'normal' and I am not even half way there yet.

Do you feel like massaging is doing anything? I am doing it twice a day as instructed but however hard I press it seems to make no physical difference.  I will keep doing it till instructed not to though.

I took a photo yesterday after not doing so since when I was instructed to stop overnight compression and seen my chest is more sticky out and puffy than it was 3 weeks ago the creases are more and bigger too so I've decided to go back to overnight compression with the binder every night now.   It's a bit annoying and feels like a step backwards, I sort of hoped as time went on, it would be slow steps forward until all sorted months and months down the line.  I just hope I haven't messed up in my post op regime somewhere like not pressing hard enough massaging or something.

Haven't posted for a while. We we were one day apart with our procedures.
I'm back in with Levick for some revision surgery but it was his suggestion to do some lipo to my sides under my pits. Apparently these are called auxiliary folds. I just call it side fat! . This is coming up in a couple of weeks.
I also have the quite hard ridges under my nipple and hoping this will pass. Massage seems to aggrevate them though like its a gland that's swollen.
I had to visit levick and have fluid drained out the right hand side and I then drained it myself about a week later with a needle. Was very easy.
I'm back to exercising as normal but like you I don't do any running as the jolting causes discomfort.
I've managed to lose nearly a stone since the operation and my confidence is through the roof so no regrets here.

Hope your well and I'll post back after the revision surgery

I agree boobless on the blimey front !! Draining yourself ? :O that is nuts.
I keep wondering if I have fat/fluid problems but if I wear binder overnight it goes down a lot.    Unlike you I have struggled to keep the fat off, I haven't put any weight on but have lost the tiny bit of tone I had built up so I'm not enjoying have no chest just yet as I've now got my gut to worry about !!

Really wasn't anything difficult ..
Step one - put needle in
Step two - draw fluid out
Mr levick did say if fluid is left it can solidify.

Oh that's not good, i was hoping the body would just absorb it.
I cant work out if mine is fluid or just fat as I have put about 3 pounds of fat on since my op.  I suppose I better send Mr Levick some photos.  I havent done so in a month now.
Ive still got creases too but after reading rotors posts look like that wont change for a while.
I am back to wearing the binder every night now as I definitely swell up without it.

Guys I read your posts and wonder if I'm freaking out too soon? I'm just 5 days post op and been compressing judiciously. However I peeked below binder and felt my chest and it's not just tender but it's like a layer of fluid in there and nipples are swimming. I was expecting it to be firm since Dr Levick put his glue in there but it's not the case. Am I right to think it's fluid build up already? 3 days post op, it all seemed very flat but now no more :(. Im really hoping it will all settle.
