Hello all,
I started this post to share my story as I was inspired to get this surgery by others on here (CJC85 & Jakeyboy08 to name a few) I wish to do the same for others. If you haven’t read there posts yet, I would advise it.
I’m 24, with a Rugby Player/Bodybuilder  type build. I’m 6 foot 2 and 120kg, which is heavy and I’m looking to drop down to at least 110kg post surgery. Never took PED’s, just ate a huge amount of calories day to day when training.
Background: I had this issue since puberty, around 14-15. I used to be a pretty slim teenager, played football and basketball for years. Once I stopped playing, I put on a bit of weight and the nipple started to get puffy and the breast started to hang. For years I though I was just overweight, I was told constantly its just puberty it will go away etc etc.
Around 17 I started to play football again, lost all the weight, but the hanging chest remained. I didn’t think much of it at the time, because it wasn’t that bad.
At the age of 19 I started to lift weights. Thinking that with more muscle on my chest it would improve. The opposite happened. The muscle mass makes the gynocomastia way more notice able. Ive been going to gym now for approx.  5 years. I’ve bulked and cut around twice in my lifetime (I don’t compete just wanted to get put on more muscle and then get lean). When cut, my chest would split in the middle and I would have striations on my chest but the gyno would remain visible.
How I got here:Like the majority of people I know, I had never heard of gynocomastia. Once I found out it was a treatable condition (about this time last year) I wanted to get the surgery. I priced it in Ireland, 4000 was the cheapest quote and 6,500 was the most expensive, bearing in mind these were quotes, so the price probably would have escalated once finished.
I began to look elsewhere and found this blog, everyone from the UK recommended Dr.Clark in Poland. I researched it a bit more and decided to get in touch with the rep (Jeremy).
I was a bit sceptical at the start, and asking friends and family at home, they were completely against it, no one wanted me to go over to Poland. Everyone seems to have a negative stigma against going to a foreign country for surgery. I didn’t see any issue and booked it late January and chose this coming week (22-4).
My reasoning for choosing Dr Clark was as follows:
•   Price: 3 or 4 times cheaper then at home.
•   The surgeon: The amount of gynocomastia surgery’s Dr Clark would perform far exceeds any surgeon in Ireland. I believe she would have the necessary experience and education to do a better job then anyone at home.
•   The blog: The amount of recommendations for Dr.Clark and all positive, that I can find. I’ve looked for poor reviews and couldn’t find any. Also the fact that people have had surgery in the UK, didn’t get the results they wanted and went to Dr.Clark to have it fixed.
Surgery:
Booked to have surgery on Wednesday 17-4-15. Flying over from Dublin on Monday and following back the following Monday. So I will spend a week in Sczcenin, staying in the Atrium Hotel as recommended.
I will update this when I get back, or maybe when in Poland.
Wish me luck,
Shane

Fair play Shane, I had my surgery actually done in Dublin with a specialist plastic surgeon, I'm coming up on 16 weeks now and pretty thrilled!

My cost just just over 3.5k all in.

Very best of luck - keep us posted!
