Hello everyone,
I'd like to say abit about myself,  I suffered from unlatrial gyno since I was 17, I was told to wait it out till now 27! I've lost weight and gained weight to hide the gyno with no success. I went to spain early this year and to do a simple thing like swimming with my family was a big step, I've missed out on so much over the years and I totally regret it, why after so long I decided enough is enough.
So I did some google searching for gyno surgery stories, NHS would not touch me so had to go private, a lot seem to go abroad for the procedure, no way am I doing that! I wanted to stay close to home and do it discreetly from work and friends no way I could explain it to them.
I maid appointments with nuffield hospital oxford
I also asked to be seen ASAP before summer kicks in and I was seen by surgen and on the surgery table within a week later, I was in early morning Saturday and out by the evening with my compression vest and drip bag hanging out of me. Living with the bag for a week day and night was the worst part, I was sore and abit spaced out but I think not smoking was playing that part as advised not to.
I'm in my second week now and I have no bruising but abit tender at the chest obviously, I've stopped taking pain killers and so on a week ago so now all im doing is making sure I wear the vest day and night and it's a waiting game.
I've seen my chest while taking showers it's matching my other side a little bit but not perfect, I'm unable to see my nipple as its covered up with a patch the surgen applied on the day of surgery and is not to be removed just yet I'm told. I'm worried he hasn't taken enough of the gland away, he did say if too much is removed it will cave in of some sort, i had 75cc of fat removed and 10cc tissue removed, 10cc does not sound a lot to me in tissue gland! But anyway im no Surgen.  I'll keep all updated. Any questions I'm glad to help

I'm 6 weeks post op and I'm healing very well worn my garment for 6 weeks straight, All I can say is to people go to a surgeon who knows what he's doing RESEARCH! Is a must, as I found he's not taken enough out as my results so far are just the same as pre op, I'm still feeling lumpy tissue under my nipple, I know it's not scar tissue as iv identified that under the nipple plus I've lived with this for years and I know what new and what I've not felt before.
I wish I'd spent £3.5k on my son instead of poor results, I've often think he only took a little bit out knowing full well I'd be asking 6 months down the line I want more out and he's cashing in again from me. That's not going to happen.
