Surgery finally done!

surgery was performed Monday 21, lipo and gland removal, 5 days post op now, feeling pretty sore in my chest, but no pain and just a little bruising, got a sort of elastic compression bandage I supposed to wear 24/7, it is very uncomfortable, think it strange that I did not get a vest instead like most others seem to have. shall return next tuesday at the surgeon may well ask about it then.

Compression bandages, vests, or something else.   The function is the same and you got whatever the surgeon has had good luck with in the past.    The surgeon has done what he can and now the healing is up to you.   Some of us heal quickly and others heal very slowly.  Liposuction is a rather brutal process and sometimes the healing is slower than we would like.  Stay in touch with your surgeon and be patient.  It is not unusual to have doubts early after surgery but most people are very satisfied even if it takes longer than expected to see the final result.
