Do you feel like you'd be able to go back to work today or tomorrow?   Or do you think you need more time off?

Happy thanksgiving to all! (in Canada that is! :P)

I could go back to work tomorow if I really had to. But I wouldn't want to just yet.

Today there's not much more to report, same status as yesterday. I'll be removing the bandages tomorow, and will be able to get a good look at the initial results.
I will use the Compression Binder that I purchased starting as of tomorow.

Day 6:

I Feel better today, than any other day since the Op.
Things are back to normal with my body now, eating/sleeping/washroom duties etc.
Removed the Hospital bandages and pads and got to see for the first time. Suprisingly, I have not any red/purple bruising. It's pretty much a yellow'ish color.
So I am happy about that.
The area's all around the nipples is obviously swollen, so both nips look a little sunken inwards at the moment, but I am sure this will go away in time.

Bambu, I think I recall saying that all of your swelling was gone by the second week. So I am also eagerly hoping mine goes down as quickly.
That's all for now.  :)

Day 7:
Mother F_ _cker my nips are sensitive today. Since yesterday actually.
I hope this is temporary because it's bothersome right now.

I ditched that Dale compression binder, it made things worse as it was too thick and I couldn't get it adjusted properly, either it was too loose, or too tight. And with my mega sensitive nips, it just wasn't working out for me. I even had my t-shirt on, and then the compression binder overtop of the t-shirt, and this still wasn't right.

So I bought a regular beige tensor wrap at the pharmacy for $3.29 and I feel 100 times better... My nips are not as irritated. And there is even compression all around. Not just in one area. ahhh "sigh of relief"

I have zero pain at the moment, the only thing that is bothering me is my nipples. I'm sure this will diisipate over time. (someone pls reassure me) lol   :)

Yesterday was weird, I am getting alot of tingling sensations all over my chest area now. Very intermittent and irritable. sometimes a little painful.
I guess this is all part of the healing process.

My bruising is almost all gone now. Just the swelling that needs to heal.
Also sleeping strictly on my back is getting to be annoying. I've been awake since 3:30am this morning because of the tingling sensations, and cannot fall back asleep.

Late night television sucks.. lol

Day 8:

Feeling less of that "tingling" shooting sensation for now. (knock on wood)
I took a few new pics, and even though there is still quite a bit of swelling/puffyness, I must say that I am very happy with the results to date, because I know it will get much better.  :)

Day 9:

Tingling sensations are completely gone...
Most of the shooting sensations are also gone.
The "ultra sensitivity" in my nips has diminished significantly as well.

I am still very swollen though, this has not changed
at all. Almost feels like it might have swelled up a tad more than it was a couple of days ago, but that's probably just in my head.
So no progress in that area yet.  :-/

I am also very sore in the chest area now, just pressing lightly on it feels sensitive, so I just leave it alone.
Thats about it for now.

Does the swelling make it look bigger than before the suj?

Rancho: Definetely not bigger than pre-op, just quite swollen.

Day 9 Continued:

My left side is extremely sore since late afternoon, I had to take 3, T3's this evening and I can still feel some pain.
If I even as much as look at my left side it makes it hurt.
It feels like someone swung a baseball bat to my left side a couple of days ago and then it bruised up, and feels like someone just punched me in the same spot.
Thats about the only way I can explain it right now.
Hope tomorow is better   :-/

Day 10:

I feel much better today, when I woke up, had still a little bit of pain, but that went away rather quickly.
Took a T3 around noon, and that has kept me in good shape all day. It's 7pm now, and I feel great.
My swelling has gone down since yesterday. Woohoo!

The only thing I am trying to figure out is if Fielding did enough lipo on my sides (under the arm) area?
Or as he refers to it: "The tail end"
Beacuse it looks like a big bulge on each side right now... I am pretty concerned about this... It might just be fluid buildup sitting in these pockets?
Anyone else have this problem after surgery?  ???

Yes, my sides were very swolen for about two weeks. Wait until all the swelling has gone down. It's probably still too early to tell what's what...

JCF didn't get all the fat tissue on my sides. I would probably need a second Lipo to get the rest. However, I'm almost 42 now and my 'impressing the ladies' days are long gone. Not that I could have impressed the ladies anyways as I had Gyne back then :-/. I'm happy the way I look now. The Gyne is gone and that is all I wanted from surgery.

You may need a touch-up job. Wait a few more weeks, let all the swelling subside, and if you're not happy at that time, give JCF a call. I'm sure he'd get the rest for you....   ;)

Thanks for the words of wisdom Bambu.

I am going to call Fielding's office tomorow anyway, since they wanted me to call about a post-op apmnt.
Which I have no plans on attending, but I would still like to have a chat with the doc if possible. So I should know more about this issue tomorow.

Check out the Day 11.2 pic.  From a side profile I am happy thus far with the results, but from a front profile, you can see the bulges on the sides. I had fat there to begin with, but I don't think there was that much, so a combination of swelling and fluid and fat perhaps is making the area look larger than what it actually is.
At least I hope so. Otherwise, I will back in to get this corrected, as it looks completely stupid.

Day 11: Not much to report asside from what I have lited above, haven't had any real pain today, odd shooting pain here and there. Everything else seems normal.

Day 12:

I don't feel so much as if there is a pockets of fluid on the sides anymore, it just feels like there was not enough lipo done.

I am very dissapointed to say the least. I highly doubt that there could be that much swelling causing this.
If it is massive swelling, it doesn't hurt to touch the area and it doesn't feel swollen. So I am leaning more towards the fact that the doctor did not do enough lipo. In fact, nowhere near enough.

I need to wait a couple more weeks to see for sure.
All I can say right now is that I'm really pissed off with this.

Nothing more to report.
