Day 12:

All I can say right now is that I'm really pissed off with this.

Raven....

Dude, relax.... your results are awesome!

like you said, give it another week or two before passing judgement.

Your Gyne is gone Dude! That's the main thing....   ;)

My gyne is not gone if the tail end's of it remain on each side.

I know it's too early to determine the end result right now, but like I said, thus far, I can't see there being "that" much swelling that still needs to come down, so thats why I claim that I am not content with my results.

I will be talking with Fielding tomorow, and I will get more info on this.

Day 13:

Chest has been feeling a little numb today, I'm guessing this is the scar tissue buildup now.
Still getting the odd shooting pains.

Day 14:

Removed tape and sutcher ends today as per the Doc's recommendations.

Getting more of that general numbness feel to my chest now. so there is not much feeling in the area. But there is no numbness on my sides yet. Still somewhat tender on the sides.

I can stretch my arms out more now, but cannot sleep on my stomach or sides yet. It's still too sore for this. I tried to rest on my side last night and I was ok for about 5 seconds, and then a shot of pain told me to move quickly onto my back.. lol  :D

Fielding told me today that I have to wait 3 months before I can have a true feel for the end result.  :-/ (I already knew this)
Apparently there was lipo done on my sides, and it went a little bit further back past the lipo incisions on the sides, so I'll have to wait it out.  :-X

Uploaded more pics with closeups of the incision marks.

I wont be able to start using the dermatix silicon gel until next wednesday. (3rd week).

Day 16:

Haven't updated in a couple of day's because not much has happened.
I have absolutely no more pains. (except if I try and sleep on my sides).
No more shooting pains.
It seems as though my swelling may have slightly gone down. Barely enough to really notice though.
My sides have been a little itchy for the past couple of days, but nothing major.
I feel really good, and am back at work.
I took a total of 2 weeks off to relax and take it easy, which I am happy that I did, because I really would not have wanted to be at work while recovering from this. Although doable, not very feasible in my opinion.
Going forward, I will only update this post when there are changes to my status.  :)

Day 18:

I don't think that there is any more swelling because nothing seems to be happening anymore. No progress has happened in about 5 or 6 days now. (Just as I had suspected)
It sucks, There is no way that I would go in public with my shirt off like this.
I look stupid with these fat pockets on my sides, especially now.
When I pinch the sides, theres no pain whatsoever, except near the front, so clearly nothing was done in this area. If there was then Im sure it would hurt at least a little.

I already spoke to my wife and I am going to be returning for surgery again to fix what Fielding did not do. Almost certainly not with him again.

I am thinking about PAL lipo to correct this problem.
Yes it's going to cost me:
1.) more money
2.) more time off work
3.) more grief
4.) more stress

but what it all comes down to is this: I wanted my problem corrected so that I could have a normal looking chest. Not 50% corrected.

Fielding did an "OK" job at eliminating my gyne in the front,
but did NOTHING about my sides where it wraps around.
Even though I had brought it up at pre-op consultation.

I am also not fully satisfied with my front, he could have done more lipo at the bottom. But it's a big improvement over what It used to be.

All this bullsh|t about waiting 3 months for final results
is a load of crap. Ask just about anyone on these boards if they've achieved any realistic improvements from the 3rd week to 3 months. And the answer is all the same.

I know my body more than anyone, and I know that there is no more swelling. Period.

I am going to be going on a strict diet and work out plan very soon. As soon as I can begin working out.
And I will try to eliminate this problem with a combination of eating very lean and alot of cardio and a work out routine. I sit at 175lbs now, so I don't excpect to lose much more, just regain my muscle mass that I have lost since summer. And will hope that this corrects my problem before inquiring about a second surgery.

The only good news is that I can alsmost sleep on my sides now.
Not fully, but just about. I figure another couple of days and I will be able to fully sleep on my sides.

This probably isn't the kind of post that Fielding patients want to read, and I realize that, however; I have to be upfront and tell it like it is. My case was a little different than many gyne cases I have seen, so pls take this into account.

Sucks to hear that you're not happy with the op, I hope that the problem does go away with the training/diet and you won't have to go through another surgery again.

Btw, does Fielding do revisions for free?

Oh for sure Dude.... You have to be honest. If there are any future Fielding Gyne patients checking out your posts, I'm sure they will want to know what wasn't quite up to par.

BTW.... thanks for all your posts and keeping us updated on your progress.

Gynecomastia: 'Woman-like Breasts'

You no longer have 'Woman-like Breasts' IMHO. However, you may still have some fat tissue on your sides. This, IMO, is not Gynecomastia. You said that you are going to start up a workout routine and eat very lean. This, most likely, will get rid of what little fat tissue you have on your sides.

I hope it works out for you.... ;)

Raven, why was your case different? and yeah, not what i wanted to read going into surg in next week! But whatever, i'll deal.

the way i see it, it can't look worse.

I'm almost all lypo - anyone have that. Fielding said it was unusual. Will it hurt more? less?

Raven, still, you look fine. I would be happy. to say you wouldn't take your shirt off in public is silly, seriously, you look good.

Rancho, my case was simply that my fat tissue wrapped from the front chest around the sides under my arms.
Picture like a spare tire around my chest.. if that makes any sense?
Bambu is probably right, in the sense that the fat on my sides was not considered part of the surgery.
Don't worry about your surgery next week, you will be fine. He did a good job at reducing the gyne significantly.
And again, I am still in recovery mode, so things might change slightly for me.

Good luck with  your surgery next week!  ;)
