Swelling post-op

I had surgery six days ago now. Was amazed when I removed the garment for the first time to shower on day 3 at how flat my chest was. But within the last day or so I've noticed some slight swelling around the nipple. Still looks infinitely better than it did pre-surgery but it is somewhat bothersome. I just went for a check in yesterday and he noted everything looked good; one side slightly more swollen than other. But it wasn't until later that I had noticed. Is it normal for the chest to look slightly less flat 1 week post op than it was 3 days post op?

Yes, although I have not had gyno surgery I have had 8 other surgeries all in total including 3 major back surgeries, and 2 total knee replacement surgeries. So I'm here to tell you that you may see many different changes as your body goes through the healing process, so don't worry about it as it does and give it time to do so.
