Building chest muscle is an admirable goal but understand that the gynecomastia sits on top of the chest muscle.  Enlarge the muscle and the gyne is not improved at all -- it just becomes more apparent as it is pushed further out by the muscle underneath.

IMHO, best way to deal with the problem is to deal with the problem -- not to minimize your exercise.

OP - Gynecomastia have varying degrees affecting different people. I agree with doctor Jacobs here that if you have excess glandular tissues around your breast and not fat, then the only way to remove that is through surgery.

There is a really helpful blog for guys like me that are skinny fat, but he focused on certain body parts you should work out to enhance muscle and mass, so it draws away aesthetically from the roundness of your pecs.

Not sure I'm allowed to share links here, but like us, this blogger had gyne surgery and continues his journey to change by focusing his lifestyle on fitness and eating clean. So hope this can help you out.
