I posted this in photos but I thought here might be helpful for me as well.  I've quit walking so much because of soreness afterwards so i would like to know what people might think is best for it. As a side note I have multiple sclerosis which has left me with a heat intolerance among other things.  But would want something on the lighter side

Have you looked at sports bras? They are made to keep things stable, to avoid that pain you're talking about, and are developed for exercise so many are made of wicking material. Most running bras are made this way but may be too constricting for long use. Do you have any shoulder mobility issues? If so you'd want to look for a strap/hook version.

I have lurked on this site for a while and even measured myself 52C if I did it right.  I looked at different styles of bras and compression tops but I am not sure which way to go.  I was hoping posting here would help narrow it down as well as maybe give some advice on speaking to my wife about it

In my case the measured bra size was nowhere close to what fit.

We are built quite different than women, and it shows when we use the bra calculator.
I ended up buying several different sizes and styles on Amazon only to go through the problem of returning the ones I didn't like. In hindsight I would have been better off going into Torrid for a professional fitting to save a lot of time and energy.
After you find your size and preference in style you can experiment on Amazon later.

My bra buying experience was not fun, and I would hate for someone to repeat it. I guess I was just embarrassed about going in for a fitting. In fact I put off wearing a bra until it was brought to my attention that it was most definitely needed. 😳

Yeah I’m an advocate of just going to a dept store personally I love Walmart. Going right around when they open generally is always a calm store. I browse and find a few I enjoy and go to a fitting room before work and take my time.
A bra calculator I find is a great option for reference but not a solution for guarantee fit. It may tell you you’re a 34c but volume and shape or how they sit on your chest can vary cup sizes and such. When I spilled out of my a cups I used a bra calculator and it told me was a 34C I tried that and I was clearly not that full. Plenty of air. I tried a 34B and it was a perfect fit. Band felt good cups were full but not overflowing no spillage in the sides and so forth.
Pro fittings are great but personal exploration to find your fit I feel is such a great opportunity for down the road shopping

OMG yes!
My left is one cup size larger than my right. It is just how they form. Everyone is slightly different from which side is larger to amount of difference.
Nothing unusual there.

So do you stuff one side or pad the other?

I don't pad my smaller side, but I think some do 🤔
In my case it's just one cup size difference so I just have extra fabric in the cup on one side.
Truthfully I use that cup to store things like money, kleenex, etc... 🤣

My boobs are just like yours. My left is somewhat larger. I highly recommend a sports bra. My wife and I walk for exercise and I have severe shoulder pain without a bra. You mentioned talking to your wife. I simply worked up the courage to say, "This is something that has bothered me most of my life. It's called gynecomastia..." and take it from there. In my case, she was very understanding and supportive. Best of luck.

Everyone's breasts are asymmetrical. Women complain about this as well. In some cases one may be different enough that a cutlet is used to fill out the cup of the smaller breast. This is why they say size for the larger breast and fill the smaller breast. In my own case my left breast is larger than my right by about an 1/8th of a cup size, just enough to create a wrinkle in some bras and my right hangs lower requiring more support and containment. This is not unusual for women or men.

Most bra calculators don't work for men because we may have as much boob under our arms as we have on our chest.  When I stuff everything into an underwire, I nearly fill a C cup.  With a wire free, I don't even fill a B cup.  My wife wears the same size bra in wired and non wired but I can't.
I have several underwires I wear now and then but my favorite is a Hanes Get Cozy.  It is basically a low impact sports bra.  I even wear them for mountain biking.  My left is at least half a cup size larger than the right but it isn't noticeable under a shirt.  If you are much bigger than a C cup, these probably aren't for you.
