Age catches up to all of us. Even Lou ferigno isn’t bench pressing and doing what he used to lol. Kudos on keeping active nevertheless. They say here when we spend our time sitting down is when Father Time tells us time to lay down

Dude with boobs,

With the increased breast size and the need for a more substantial bra to support them I gritted my teeth and just started to not be concerned if I was noticed in the gym or locker room.
I have noticed ( with great difficulty ) only a few people who were able to see  ‘ something’ . Not one person has said a word and I have been seen often in the locker room while changing.
It won’t take them long to ignore what they think they see.
Keep on truckin’. !
That's the right attitude. In the locker room other men can see your breasts and subsequently that you need a bra. Even if there were some strange reactions (which are not), after a short time they'd know you and this would stop. Perhaps even other men might ask you what kind of sports bra you wear and if it helps.

Some decades ago I was a frequent sauna visitor. There was only a large locker room for both sexes. I didn't wear a bra at that time nor did I have breasts. But it would be interesting to see what would happen, if I today would undress there. In my country in most saunas the visitors are obliged to be nude in the cabin with only a large towel under their body.

I have watched some videos on YouTube "walking at the beach". There are some men (mostly older) who have visible breasts and could benefit from a bra. But as long as it is such a taboo there'll be no change.
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

Definitely agree that after some time the umm wtf would fade in to mehh just a dude in a bra. I’d imagine if I ever did change and had a bra on the volume of padding in the bra while not dramatic would certainly show why.
I have a fair amount of muscle and it’s pretty clear I workout regularly. I wouldn’t imagine anyone would have some ignorant view of this guys a perv but it is a more conservative gym so I take that in. And my wife and I are very involved in our city and just don’t care to risk the whispers. Especially with social media being as it is now days.
In our gym it’s the same, sauna is usually occupied by all men usually older or middle aged and in a towel which u presume isn’t with swimming shorts under unless they are planning to swim after. There’s a hot tub in the area as well where most men get in and out undressed and I just avoid it. It makes me a bit uncomfortable and it is primarily older men.
Being older men typically the breast development from age and lowered t is common but me being in my late 30s it makes me a bit more conscious especially by their shape, volume and current size of things. It just isn’t normal for someone my age and makes me more hyper aware of the possible stares I’d rather avoid. On a beach 3000 miles away no worries. At a gym 5 min away. Yeah lol. But I am becoming more and more secure in wearing a bra to both my gyms and that’s a good feeling

You're right that it might not be the norm, but as we read in the forum, you're not the only young man with breasts. Think of the many teenagers who develop them and get bullied or ridiculed at school. If you and all other young men avoid such situations as with the hot tub, it never becomes normal.

And you're right, in old men like me, it is quite normal meanwhile and only very few people stare at my breasts if I am swimming or in the sauna cabin. Only we can make it normal.

Appreciate it. I almost envy the heck out of the youth who have to deal with it and older folks who have to adjust to it. I’d hate being a teenager and wondering wtf is going on and dealing with the ridicule it comes with. But at least the people they date and find to marry eventually are well aware of their breasts and need for support and it isn’t a shock in the least. Same with older men. Being in the middle I feel it’s just making me a centerpiece of that guys either taking steroids or estrogen cause that doesn’t just happen. I have found several moments with friends and colleagues over the years to insert a educational moment of gynecomastia in hopes it causes a what’s that and Google searches for later to help normalize that it is a real thing and not byproduct of someome causing it.
And perhaps I’ll take the tip of simply going to the hot tub and sauna and see what happens. And I do think it would remove issue if being confident and nonchalant and relaxed and simply be normal about it to make others know it’s normal even if not often seen. Luckily I don’t think my breasts are too visible I could be wrong but perhaps I’m overthinking the concern of areas like that.

I first began developing breasts at 61, right after I retired.  We have a condo in Mazatlan, which we visit for the month of February.  A nice break from the cold and snow where we live.  While my breasts were growing, they were passable for many years.  The last two years, two knee replacements prevented us from being there.  Instead, we rent places on the coast and walk the beach.  I don't any longer feel comfortable going topless.  When I visit the pool, I keep my shirt on.  Occasionally, someone will comment on my swimming with a top on.  I explain that I'm protecting my skin from the sun.  Which makes total sense, since I've had a few pre-cancerious spots removed.

I already had boobs when I dated my wife to be, having developed in my early teens. She turned out to be a gem and has supported me wearing bras.

But no it is not easy trying to get out there and make relationships while displaying a set of boobs.....I don't think it is what most girls are looking for. It definitely degrades ones confidence getting into a relationship.
If the bra fits, wear it.

How long have you been lactating and have you lactate before?

Several years after being diagnosed with Gyne, My wife and I went to a bra fitting and several bras places.  It was awkward as she preferred to stay out while the fitting was taking place.

After my second Mammogram, this was much better.

We purchased a number of bras which really didn't work over the years.  Mostly function over style.  While going through my bedroom drawers, I found one that was too big for me, way back when.

Good job you kept it as it now fits very nicely.
