Women's tank tops

Good morning everyone, I know this topic has been brought up in the past. However, I would like to share my experience. 




Recently after reading several post of some members wears women's tank tops. So I've decided to order a few my self, and try it out.




I must say that there're way more comfortable then men's tank tops. Seems the material is lighter and cooler. So far, I've ordered couple different brands and different styles. 




The first tops that I got definitely shows my bra straps. The other tops probably would show in certain conditions, but for the most part, probably could get away it during certain situations. All are mutual color and nothing flashy.

That's all I had to say, however.  How many of you do wear a women's tank top out and and about? And does your bra show?

Arm holes are smaller so the bra band doesn't show a much under the arms as well as the strap widths being wide enough to hide them straps. 

I also wear them sometimes under a V-neck blouse if I want to be conservatively dressed.

Such good advice. 

I find that the cut of women’s tanks fits me better than do men’s.  Fuller in the bust, smaller in the shoulders. I think that may contribute to the smaller armholes.  Also, the fabrics tend to be more comfortable. Softer, smoother, lighter, thinner.

Some of us here wear the tank from Exclusively  Kristen. Wider straps to hide bra straps and smaller arm holes to keep bands bras from doing a peek a boo through the arms. I wear jockey camisoles and tanks. My new favorite is the jockey high neck rib knit tank. Lots of stretch and tight fitting. I’m a 38B bordering on a c cup and I wear a large.

Oh, good, a regular bra gives better support.  I do wear some of the tanks or camis with built-in shelf bras around the house for light soft support.

I have a couple of women's tank tops that have shelf bras in them.  These are good for casual wear with a casual shirt over top. The white one goes under my dress shirts when a suit is required. The shelf bra gives enough support for my A/B size especially since when wearing a suit, you aren't exactly exerting yourself.  They are just like an undershirt and remain practically unnoticeable.

I wear shelf bras when I need some support but can’t feel confident in a bra. While the band in the tank is present it is quite undetected otherwise. I enjoy the soft material vs men’s tougher cotton. And the stretch and neckline is unisex and allows my breasts to sit comfortably in enough support for the day

I have 3 that are a stretchy material I couldn't even say what brand without looking. 
And then two that are technically my wife's but she doesn't wear them often so I make use of them when I am so inclined. 
Those have the shelf bra built in but I always wear a bra anyways. Again no clue as to the brand without tag checking.

You'll discover this same trend carries over to most of your clothing that you purchase that is designed for women, but could and does benefit men as well. 

I know that a fair number of you who wear a bra on a daily basis, like myself and most women do, have also discovered how much more comfortable panties are compared to boxers or men's briefs. I was fortunate enough to have an understanding mother who took me for my first bra fitting and let me switch to panties on the same day.

In another recent thread, women's jeans are popular with many of the guys. They are lighter, stretchy and just fit and look better. The same is true for slacks. I think that most of you probably have a pair of men's black slacks hanging in your closet. I would recommend that any of you who prefer women's jeans, to try a pair of ladies slacks. They are lighter and stretchy with enough room in the thighs and seat with a waist band that tends to fit fellas with figures. I've been wearing slacks from the ladies stores and departments for almost  30 years now. Nowadays , I wear mostly dresses and skirt suits to work because I find the more comfortable than slacks. 

It's almost 2025! It's time to wear what YOU like and what fits your figure and your style!

Sophie funny you say that.  

It suddenly forced me to remember a situation where my mother had as I previously stated wanted me to try girls jeans when I was an early teenager. 
but I also distinctly remember her telling me I should try some jock style panties. 

I know it wasn't a false memory because my reaction was of such horror that she would even suggest I should try "girlypanties" but at the same time knew that it was telling me something. 


Looking back, I now wonder what in the ever loving hell was going on with me.

I’m the youngest of 7 children. I always wore hand me downs. 4 older brothers and two older sisters. All my brothers clothing was always worn out. So I ended up wearing both my sisters clothing mostly. I grew up in a farm and ranch family. So they had a lot of clothing that was not fancy. So I wore their hand me down jeans,shirts,boots and whatever else would fit. Even their underwear. Sometimes I would get new clothes. But not often.
Sometimes I felt I was getting a raw deal....but looking back on it now.
I understand now with that many children to raise with all that involved with it, even sending all the children to college that I get why I had hand me downs.
