Asking for a Bra recommendation

I haven’t been buying bras very long, and as I mentioned I’m a 42B based on my measurements at Torrid.  I’ve also been reading a lot of the forum and catching up on things.  The discussions that talked about side boobs and how big the base of men’s boobs are peaked my interest.  When I hold my side in and push right under my left boob it seems to almost double.  So if I wanted to get a bra to get the most boob into the cup what would you recommend?  Not that I would necessarily go out in public with it, but I am very curious.  Thanks in advance.  The more specific the recommendation the better.  ;-)

The Walmart Joyspun wired bras are good starter bras. Just make sure it says side smoothing in the description.

I bought one of these (by accident) last week at Torrid. 
I love it! It's very comfortable, well built, and has the added bonus of not adding much projection because of it's design (holds breasts together and flatter).
Fits like a sports bra, and you could play tennis in it, but has underwire support.

Torrid does make very good quality and comfortable bras. I have a few of them. The Torrid 360° Smooth and Sexy are what I wear for my T-shirt bras. I have them in both lightly lined and push up styles. 

I really like Elomi and Fantastie bras. The underwires are are more broad than most other bra makers. This really helps with side support. If you have any "side boob", both Elomi and Fantastie bras put your girls into the cups and keeps them their all day. The broader underwires provide a nice rounded shape that reduces my projection. The Elomi Matilda and Charley are a couple of my favorite bras.

Underwire bras will certainly help keep tissue in the cups but also look for boning or a reinforced seam at the side behind the underwire. This will help stop that side bulging and will direct more tissue into the cups.  A wider side band also helps.  I am sure you will find a solution as it's a common problem .

Cups with side panels or interior slings help control side boob by directing breast tissue to the center. The Chantelle Norah Underwire Comfort Bra is a favorite of mine because of the way the cups are made. It's two cups built into one that contains and supports without bulk and centers my bust naturally while giving great side support and containment. Look for bras that advertise side support. These bras usually have more structure to shape and support. 

Seams in a cup also adds structure to shape and support. In summer, seamed cups are lighter and cooler and give great support and comfort. Lace is amazingly supportive and very light and airy. My go to bras in the summer for comfort and support.

So if I wanted to get a bra to get the most boob into the cup what would you recommend?

Underwire bras are definitely more effective because their rigidity allows you to 'swoop and scoop' all your breast tissue into the cups, which if they are the right size, will stay there! To do that, all you need to do is sit down when donning your bra and lean forward, reaching in and pulling as much side boob as you can into the cups. You will be amazed at the result!

I'm a 40A/small B and only a part-time wearer, and I only own two underwire bras. One has padded, molded cups like a t-shirt bra and I hate it. It's smooth and virtually invisible under clothing, but it has far too much room in it and useless for what it's meant to do. It is actually a 40A! The other is a 40B, has unlined and seamed cups with lace on top. It fits perfectly except for a very small amount of creasing in the cups. The seam is only visible if the shirt you're wearing is too tight! Here it is, but it is no longer available, unfortunately. As an alternative, there are certain wirefree bras that do a pretty good job too. This is my all-time favorite. It features an 'M-Frame' which actually enables me to successfully swoop and scoop' into it as well, and it is more comfortable overall. I did a quick Amazon search and found this Miss Mary of Sweden bra. It looks super comfy and very pretty. The side support looks very nice and the U-shaped back is something that I demand in all of my bras to prevent the straps from slipping. I may even try one of these!

Great recommendations.  Lovely shaping on the first one and the second is reminiscent of the Triumph Doreen.  Definitely my taste, I would be happy with either.

Wow! So much great information and things about bras that I never knew.  It will take me a bit to apply the info all of you gave me.  Sophie’s Miss Mary’s find looks beautiful.  But I’ll need to be careful and not get too carried away with  my search and remember my budget.

These pictures show the side boning panel that sits behind the underwire of one of my bras. It really helps get the breast tissue where it needs to be.  Also you can see how 3 section cups provide shape and support.  You will feel comfortable and supported and your bra will not need adjusting the whole day.

It's one I got from a UK  chainstore called Peacocks. It was only £9. You don't need to spend a lot if you shop around. I am sure you will find something similar where you are.
